Tenura is attending the Rehacare 2015 exhibition!

We are looking forward to getting this exhibition underway and answering any and all questions the general public will have for us. Tenura can be found in Hall 3 at stand 03 A70/I!

Held in Dusseldorf, Germany, Rehacare brings together many companies and speakers who have many years’ experience in the rehabilitation and mobility market. This year, we will be bringing our range of daily living aids to show visitors how useful these items can be at everyday tasks that little bit easier.

Rehacare is one of the biggest international trade fairs for rehabilitation, prevention and inclusion and care products and services. Which is why were so excited to be here. This gives us a great chance to talk to the general public and answer any questions they may have, whilst also allowing us to form strong friendships and business opportunities.

So, my colleagues have just returned from Rehacare, telling us tales of the great place that is Germany, the sights, the sounds, the smells…. but that is not what this blog post is for.

After visiting Rehacare last year, we knew that this year was a great opportunity to fully present Tenura to another international audience, especially after the success of AOTA in Indianapolis, and Salon Autonomic in Paris, we knew we couldn’t miss out.

Rehacare International is an annual expo based in Dusseldorf, Germany, and it ran from the 10th until the 13th of October, with six halls of exhibitors for businesses and the general public.

With confidence ( as always ) in the product, and some excellent signage and POS setup on the stand, from start to finish, Mathew and Gerard where bombarded with enquiries from many companies from around the globe, some we hope to announce as Tenura retailers in the future, but for now, they must remain nameless.

Many thanks to everyone who assisted Mathew and Gerard in getting us to Rehacare, and to each and every one of you that visited the stand.

Yesterday, was an incredibly long day, but a fruitful one. After jetting off from Manchester Airport, we arrived in Düsseldorf ready for the day. After a quick fuel up, we arrived at Rehacare ready to engage and converse with other companies.

Germany seems to be the central hub for all these things with quotes of ‘X and Y should be done the German way!’, a saying that I agree with! The event was absolutely astonishing, with every stand easy to find.

We spoke with many companies, and their staff, and even the management involved were friendly, interesting, and most of all, gave advice and polite criticism or words of encouragement about our daily living aids where needed.

After the event, we wound up making our way to the Uerige Micro Brewery and had some of their own beer, which was delicious, and made our way to a local Irish Pub after that for a beer, pretzels and to watch some Golf while we waited for our train back to the airport.

Many, many thanks to Rehacare for putting on such an amazing event, and thanks to Düsseldorf for the warm hospitality, we look forward to returning!

Tenura reprasentatives Mathew and Gerard will be visiting Rehacare in Düsseldorf, Germany, tomorrow, and Mathew will be visiting Naidex South on October the 19th.
